1 Identity
Fixed-ratio three-component article, and only one of the three is a peptide: a 16-residue synthetic peptide free acid, a pyridine dinucleotide coenzyme, and a quaternary N-methylquinolinium salt. Two of the three carry no peptide bond anywhere. Each component's full identity lives on its own record and is cross-referenced from here rather than restated. and "NAD+ / MOTS-c / 5-Amino-1MQ stack". Two of the three names do not fix A substance: "NAD+" is sold as free acid, monosodium and disodium salts and as several hydrates, and "5-amino-1MQ" is a permanent cation always shipped as a salt whose counter-ion no seller found declares.

NAD+ has no sequence and no peptide bond: nicotinamide riboside joined to adenosine through a pyrophosphate bridge, a zwitterion with eight stereocenters and a beta-anomeric configuration whose alpha anomer is exactly isobaric. 5-Amino-1MQ has no sequence and no stereocenter at all.

AT A stated nominal 100 mg NAD+ plus 10 mg MOTS-c plus 50 mg 5-amino-1MQ, 160 mg total, the molar figures are 150.7318, 4.5985 and 314.0467 micromol on a cation basis - a molar ratio of 32.78 : 1.00 : 68.29. On an iodide basis the third figure falls to 174.7537 micromol, because iodide is 44.35 percent of that article by weight and 50 mg of the salt contains 27.82 mg of cation. That is a 44 percent swing in one component's molar content decided by a word the label may not carry, and it is the largest measurement error available on this article. No single blend "molecular weight" is printed.

NAD+ 663.1091 neutral, [M+H]+ 664.1164, with NADH exactly +2.0157 and NADP+ exactly +79.9663 above it. 5-Amino-1MQ is a permanent cation observed as [M]+ at 159.0917, not as [M+H]+. Three molecules spanning 159 to 2175 Da in one vial cannot be seen in one injection on one method, and the certificate states three methods or explains how one covers a 13.7-fold mass span.

(2) NAD+ salt and hydrate: free acid 663.430, monosodium 685.411, disodium 707.393, hydrate water declared per lot; the alpha anomer is a real, separately sold and exactly isobaric impurity. (3) 5-amino-1MQ counter-ion: iodide 286.117, chloride 194.66, bromide 239.12 - a lot weighed as iodide but specified against the cation is 44 percent short of the stated substance. (4) MOTS-c: free acid against acetate 2234.67 and trifluoroacetate 2288.64; the K14Q polymorph sits 0.036 Da from the parent.

Store at -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated and light-protected - a non-sterile laboratory chemical carrying no sterility claim and no injection format. The labeled condition is the most restrictive of the three components rather than an average of them. The inert headspace is set by the MOTS-c oxidation inventory, and the label states that reason. NAD+ is hygroscopic; vials are equilibrated to ambient before opening.
