Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible for your information
Unequivocal Peptides LLC, a Florida limited liability company with its principal office at [[COMPANY ADDRESS]] , is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact us at support@unequivocalpeptides.com.
2. Information we collect
When you register for an account we collect: your first name, last name, email address, a hashed form of your password, your state, and your country. We also record the date and time of each consent you give — your confirmation that you are 21 or older, your acknowledgement of the caution statement, your agreement to our terms and this policy, and, if you give it, your consent to receive marketing email. Each consent is recorded separately.
If you register on behalf of an organization we also collect the organization name and your role within it.
When you ask to be notified about an article we record your account identifier, the article, the date of the request, and whether the request is active.
If you subscribe to our newsletter without an account we collect your email address and the date and time of your subscription.
If you contact us we collect the information you choose to provide in your message.
We do not collect payment card details. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
3. Information collected automatically
We use a privacy-focused analytics service that does not set cookies and does not collect personal information. It records aggregate page views, referring sites, approximate country, and device type. It does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you.
We set a session cookie when you sign in. It is necessary for the site to work and is deleted when your session ends.
4. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and verify your email address.
- To give you access to the catalogue and article records.
- To send you the notifications you have requested about article availability.
- To send you our newsletter, if you have consented to receive it.
- To respond to your enquiries.
- To keep records of the consents and attestations you have given, which we are required to retain.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
5. Email you receive from us
Transactional email — email address verification, password reset, and the availability notifications you asked for — is necessary to operate your account and is separate from marketing.
Marketing email is sent only with your consent. Every marketing email contains a working unsubscribe link and our physical postal address. We act on unsubscribe requests within ten business days.
Our newsletter list and our notification list are separate. Unsubscribing from one does not affect the other. You can manage both in your account.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and our bot-protection provider. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or lawful request from a government or regulatory authority, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
If our business is sold or transferred, your information may be transferred as part of it.
7. Where your information is held
Your information is held on servers in the United States.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is open, and for three years after you close it.
We keep records of the consents and attestations you gave for six years after your account closes, because we may need to evidence them.
We keep newsletter subscription records until you unsubscribe, and a record of the unsubscribe itself so that we honour it.
9. Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is inaccurate, or delete it. You can export your data and delete your account from within your account settings, or by contacting us.
Deleting your account does not delete the consent and attestation records described above, which we retain for the period stated.
If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to request correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any right, contact support@unequivocalpeptides.com. We verify your identity by reference to your registered email address before acting on a request.
You may make a request to know free of charge up to twice in any twelve-month period. We may decline a request that is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, or where we have already provided the same information to you more than twice in a twelve-month period. Where we decline a request we tell you why.
10. Security
Passwords are stored using the Argon2id hashing algorithm and are never stored in a readable form. Connections to the site are encrypted in transit. Access to personal information is restricted to those who need it.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us, and any transmission is at your own risk.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the current version appears at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will notify you by email.
