Researcher Verification Policy
1. Why we verify
We supply research articles that are not for use in humans. We verify who we sell to before an order is accepted. Verification is a condition of purchase, not a formality.
Every article we supply is labelled with the following caution statement:
CAUTION: Contains a new drug for investigational use only in laboratory research animals or for tests in vitro. Not for use in humans.
2. What we require
Before you can view our catalogue you must:
Before an order is accepted you must additionally confirm that the articles are being acquired for laboratory research or in vitro testing, and that they are not being acquired for administration to any human being.
- register an account with accurate personal information;
- confirm that you are 21 years of age or older;
- acknowledge the caution statement set out above;
- agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy;
- confirm your email address by following the single-use link we send you.
3. Institutional accounts
If you are registering on behalf of an organization, you must provide the organization's name and your role within it, and you must be authorised to bind that organization.
We may ask for additional evidence of an institutional affiliation, including a verifiable institutional email address or documentation of your role.
4. Our discretion to refuse
We may refuse, limit, suspend, or cancel any registration or order at our discretion. We will do so where:
We are not required to give reasons for a refusal. Where an order is refused after payment, we refund in full.
- human use is stated or reasonably apparent from the circumstances;
- information given during registration appears inaccurate or cannot be verified;
- an account appears to be shared, resold, or operated on behalf of an undisclosed party;
- we have reason to believe an article would be supplied onward to a person intending human use;
- acceptance would place us in breach of any applicable law.
5. Records
We record each attestation you give, with the date and time. We retain those records for six years after your account closes. Our Privacy Policy explains how that information is handled.
6. Your continuing obligation
The attestations you give are continuing. If at any time they cease to be accurate, you must stop placing orders and notify us at support@unequivocalpeptides.com. Giving a false attestation is a breach of our Terms of Sale and may result in immediate termination of your account.
