How catalog access works
The catalog is open. Every article we supply is listed with its sizes and its price, and nothing is held behind a registration form. You can read the whole catalog, and every certificate behind it, without telling us who you are.
There is one check, and it comes immediately before checkout: a single plain question about intended use, with no answer pre-selected and no way around it. Answer it honestly. It is not a hoop — a false answer does not open a door, it puts a false statement on a purchase record. Answering that the material is for human use ends the order there, and that cannot be reversed on this site.
Why the one question exists
The reason is the caution every article carries: “CAUTION: Contains a new drug for investigational use only in laboratory research animals or for tests in vitro. Not for use in humans.” Material described that way is not sold to whoever reaches checkout first. It follows the same logic as our testing — the standard is set before the transaction, and the transaction happens only if the standard is met. A standard, not a formality, applied to everyone without exception.
Nothing else gates a purchase. We do not collect identity documents, we do not approve accounts, and we do not require an institution: individuals may order, provided the articles are acquired for laboratory research or in vitro testing. We ship to United States addresses only, and payment clears in full before an order is filled.
What is never gated
The teaching side of this site has no wall either — no account, no email, nothing to dismiss:
- The Testing Standard — all fourteen tests and the five release gates, in plain language.
- The Research Library — the literature, attributed to its authors.
- The lot ledger and failed lots — every released lot with its laboratory-hosted certificate, and every failure published beside the passes and left there.
- How to read a certificate — all fourteen lines, explained for a first-time reader.
- The Knowledge Center — what the material is and how it is handled at the bench.
- The Unequivocal Calculator — concentration arithmetic, no defaults, no recommendations.
Read all of it and never buy anything. That is the point: you should leave able to evaluate any supplier — including this one — whether or not you ever buy a vial.
