Ordering
Do I need to work for a company or university to order?
No. Individuals may order, provided the articles are acquired for laboratory research or in vitro testing you or your organization conducts. We refuse orders where human use is stated or apparent — that question is put to you before checkout.
Why did my card decline, and what payment methods do you take?
The methods we accept are listed at checkout, and payment clears in full before an order is filled. Card networks treat this category cautiously; a decline usually comes from the issuing bank, not from us. Try another listed method, or email support@unequivocalpeptides.com.
Is there a discount code or bulk pricing?
The catalog price is the price, the same for everyone. Any real promotion is published on this site; a code from a roundup site is not ours. Genuine volume needs: email support@unequivocalpeptides.com — a conversation, not a coupon. Browse the catalog.
Testing and certificates
What is 14-point testing?
Fourteen tests, five release gates, one public record: identity, purity, net peptide content, water, counterion, structural integrity, residual solvents, elemental impurities, endotoxin and bioburden, content uniformity, aggregation state, relative potency, secondary structure, and container closure integrity. Eleven run on every lot without exception; the rest on defined cycles, re-run whenever route, container, or supplier changes. A failing lot does not release: it is destroyed, and the failure is published beside the passes. Test by test: the Testing Standard.
Where is the certificate for my vials?
Every vial carries a QR code. Scan it and the certificate of analysis for that exact lot opens, hosted by the independent laboratory that produced it. If you have the lot number instead — it is on your order confirmation and packing slip — enter it here. If it does not resolve, email support@unequivocalpeptides.com and we will fix it.
Why does the certificate open on another website?
Because we do not host it, we cannot edit it. The independent laboratory that tests every lot publishes the certificate on its own site, under its own name. That is also your proof the laboratory exists — search for it yourself. How to read one.
Is 99%+ purity real? Was it mass-spec tested?
Two questions hide in that number. Purity is how much of the vial is one substance; identity is which substance — a purity percentage alone says nothing about identity. We measure both on every lot: purity by HPLC, identity by high-resolution mass spectrometry, against a specification published before the lot existed. Lots that miss are destroyed and published. More on weighing claims.
Shipping and returns
How fast do you ship, and where is my tracking number?
Orders dispatch the same day they are filled, or the next business day. An order is filled once payment has cleared and it has been picked and checked — that is what “processing” covers, so a short wait there is normal, not stuck. Tracking goes to your email at dispatch. Transit times are the carrier’s estimates. Shipping policy.
My vials arrived warm with no ice packs — are they ruined?
Almost certainly not. Cold shipping is per article: a vial ships in an insulated container with refrigerant only when its published specification requires temperature control — its product page says so. Everything else ships at ambient temperature, because a sealed lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide is stable for far longer than any transit window. If a temperature-controlled shipment arrives with its refrigerant fully spent, photograph it and claim within seven days: returns policy.
Do you ship internationally?
No — United States only. The checkout accepts United States addresses and no others. Shipping policy.
Something arrived damaged, wrong, or not at all — can I return it?
Sales are final, with one exception: claims. Email support@unequivocalpeptides.com within seven days of delivery with your order number, the lot number, and photographs of the article and packaging as received — and keep the packaging. Where a claim is accepted, we send a prepaid return label at our cost and replace or refund. An article that has been opened, aliquoted, or otherwise altered cannot be claimed, and nothing should be returned without instructions from us. Tracking says delivered but nothing came? Email us anyway — we would rather fix a problem than argue about one. Returns policy.
Products and availability
What is the difference between “Out of stock” and “Not stocked”?
“Out of stock” is an article we sell, between lots — it returns when a new lot clears every release gate, never before. “Not stocked” is an article we have chosen not to offer for now: it exists in our records, but no lot is coming.
When will an article be back in stock?
We do not publish restock dates — a lot is not stock until it passes testing. The product page carries a notify-me form for articles that are out of stock. It is not connected yet, and it says so on the page rather than quietly collecting addresses.
What exactly is in a blend?
Every blend’s product page states the full composition — each component named, with its amount — and the lot’s certificate tests the blend as supplied. We do not paraphrase compositions anywhere else: the product page and the certificate are the record. Browse the catalog.
The powder is loose or shattered instead of a solid puck — is that normal?
Usually, yes. A lyophilized cake can arrive as an intact puck, cracked, flaked, or loose powder — freeze-drying and transit vibration produce all four, and appearance is not a release test. Content uniformity, net peptide content, and seal integrity are — per lot, on the certificate. A compromised stopper or seal is a claim: seven days, photographs, returns policy.
The questions we will not answer
How much water do I add to a 5 mg or 10 mg vial?
We do not recommend a volume, for any vial, ever. That is a decision of the researcher’s own work, not the supplier’s. Laboratory-practice facts: the Knowledge Center; the calculator does the arithmetic for any volume you enter.
Which water do I use — bacteriostatic or sterile?
The choice of diluent belongs to the researcher, and we do not make it for you. What each diluent is, and how they differ, is laboratory-practice fact: the Knowledge Center. The arithmetic, once that is decided: the calculator.
How much should I take?
We do not recommend amounts — not per vial, not per anything. If you are unsure how to handle a lyophilised article, or you are purchasing for personal use, answer the human-use question honestly. We would rather lose the sale than the standard.
Is this safe? Will it help with my condition?
We will not answer either, because no honest supplier can. Every article we supply carries this statement, verbatim: “CAUTION: Contains a new drug for investigational use only in laboratory research animals or for tests in vitro. Not for use in humans.” We publish what a lot is and what it measured — never what a compound does in a person; literature findings stay with their authors.
Every article is supplied under the caution: “CAUTION: Contains a new drug for investigational use only in laboratory research animals or for tests in vitro. Not for use in humans.”
