The presence of a metal complex changes the analytical class of the whole article, not just of one component. TB-500 under one market name is either the full-length 43-mer at 4,963.506 Da or the Tb4(17-23) heptapeptide at 889.018 Da; this record is written against the full-length 43-mer.

GHK-Cu: ligand H-Gly-L-His-L-Lys-OH held as the copper(II) complex through a three-nitrogen donor set - N-terminal amine, deprotonated Gly-His amide nitrogen, histidine imidazole nitrogen.

GHK-Cu C14H22CuN6O4 for the 1:1 complex free of added counterion, or C16H26CuN6O6 for the mono-acetate, which is what the leading institutional supplier actually ships under the name - the salt form is stated, not assumed. No combined formula is written for the article. Total nominal fill is stated alongside the per-component fills and never in place of them.

- Per component: BPC-157 1,419.556 Da; thymosin beta-4 4,963.506 Da; GHK-Cu 401.914 Da for the 1:1 complex and 461.966 Da for the mono-acetate. The copper figure uses the conventional atomic weight of copper, 63.546, which is an isotope-weighted average and not the mass of any single molecule. Worked example at an observed 50 + 10 + 10 mg presentation, total nominal fill 70 mg: 124.405 micromol GHK-Cu, 7.044 micromol BPC-157, 2.015 micromol thymosin beta-4 - a 61.7 : 3.5 : 1.0 molar ratio out of a 5 : 1 : 1 mass ratio. Copper accounts for 7.905 mg of that fill, 11.3 percent of the gross.

- Per component: BPC-157 1,418.7042 neutral; thymosin beta-4 4,960.48632 neutral, read from a deconvoluted charge envelope; GHK-Cu 401.0999 neutral for the 63Cu isotopologue, [M+H]+ 402.1072, with the 65Cu isotopologue at 403.098. The natural copper isotope envelope, 63Cu to 65Cu at 69.15 to 30.85, is part of the identity of the copper component and is shown on the certificate; the 65Cu peak is not an impurity and a certificate that reports it as one has misread the article.
- Salt / variant note
- (1) the thymosin fork, again: 43-mer at 4,963.506 Da or heptapeptide at 889.018 Da under one market name. (2) the copper fork: 1:1 GHK-Cu at 401.914, the mono-acetate at 461.966, the metal-free ligand GHK at 340.384 which contains no copper at all, AHK-Cu at 415.94 which is +14.03 Da, and prezatide copper acetate at 800.33 which is a 2:1 bis-complex. Three of these are sold as 'GHK-Cu'. (3) ratio: 50/10/10 mg is an observed presentation; others circulate and none is standard. (4) color: the neat copper complex is blue to blue-violet, but in a blend the peptide components dilute the chroma, so cake color is a weaker in-process check here than on the neat complex and a pale cake is not read as a failure without instrument confirmation.

- The labeled condition is taken as the most restrictive of the three components: co-lyophilized solid, -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated with in-pack desiccant, protected from light, nitrogen headspace, re-blanketed after subdivision, sealed vial equilibrated to room temperature before opening. The nitrogen blanket carries extra weight in this composition and the reason is chemistry rather than caution: Cu(II) is redox-active and methionine is the one oxidation-labile residue in the article, so co-lyophilizing the two puts an oxidizable residue and a redox-active metal in the same cake. Whether that interaction is material at these ratios is a question the blend's own stability study answers; it is not answerable from the single-component data.
- Shelf life
- The article carries a retest date set from QA release against the blend's own stability data rather than an interval inherited from the single-component records. The attributes that limit that interval are per-component content, the measured ratio, methionine sulfoxide, copper stoichiometry by ICP-MS, the d-d band lambda-max, water content and any new peak above 0.10 percent. The blend runs its own protocol at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months with a parallel accelerated arm, trending each of them.
