BPC-157 + TB-500 Fragment 17-23 / ABP-7 - Wolverine, fragment specification

1 Identity

Contains BPC-157 + TB-500 Fragment 17-23 / ABP-7

Sequence
Per component, cross-referenced to the component records. Component A, BPC-157: GEPPPGKPADDAGLV, 15 residues, all L, free acid. Component B, Tb4(17-23): Ac-Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln-OH, one-letter Ac-LKKTETQ-OH, seven residues, all L, N-acetylated, free acid, no cysteine, no aromatic residue anywhere in either chain and therefore no 280 nm chromophore on the article as a whole.
Molecular formula
Per component. BPC-157 C62H98N16O22. Tb4(17-23) C38H68N10O14, free acid; the formula applies to Ac-LKKTETQ only and no formula is stated for 'ABP-7', because none can be. No combined formula is written: a mixture has no molecular formula. Total nominal fill is stated instead and only alongside the per-component fills.
Average mass
Per component: BPC-157 1,419.556 Da; Tb4(17-23) 889.018 Da (PubChem CID 62707662 prints 889.0, consistent with the formula mass). Worked example at a 10 mg + 10 mg = 20 mg total nominal fill: 7.044 micromol BPC-157 against 11.248 micromol heptapeptide, a 1.00-to-1.60 molar ratio from a 1-to-1 mass ratio. This is the pair on which the mass-versus-molar distinction bites hardest in this catalog, because the two components are close enough in mass that the inversion is easy to miss.
Monoisotopic mass
Per component: BPC-157 1,418.7042 Da neutral, [M+H]+ 1,419.7115. Tb4(17-23) 888.4917 Da neutral, [M+H]+ 889.4989, [M+2H]2+ 445.2531, [M-H]- 887.4844. Both neutrals are confirmed in a single run at a stated ppm tolerance.
Salt / variant note
(1) the name collision that defines this record: 'TB-500' is sold as the 43-mer at 4,963.506 Da and as this heptapeptide at 889.018 Da, a 5.58-to-1 mass ratio under one name. The full-chain specification is a separate record. (2) 'ABP-7' as a trade name, with its identity unresolved in the source material; it is not treated as a synonym for Ac-LKKTETQ, only as the name under which material of that claimed description is sold. (3) The unacetylated heptapeptide H-LKKTETQ-OH, 42.01 Da lighter, which a certificate must exclude rather than assume. (4) Ratio: no standard presentation exists. (5) Counterion per component, acetate or trifluoroacetate, stated separately.

2 Class & testing panel

Form
Fixed-ratio blend
Testing panel
P1panel definitionfor both components, run per component. Neither component carries a lipid, a metal, a D-residue or a non-proteinogenic residue

3 Primary sources & evidence

The index reports the design and provenance of the literature, not a conclusion about effect.

Literature exists for each component and is graded and cited on that component's record; it is cross-referenced from here and is not literature about this mixture. The identity of 'ABP-7' is unresolved.

4 Storage & specification

Storage
The labeled condition is the more restrictive of the two components: co-lyophilized solid, Type I amber glass vial, nitrogen-flushed headspace, elastomeric stopper, aluminum crimp seal, -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated, protected from light. The sealed vial is equilibrated to room temperature before opening to prevent condensation onto the cake. Neither component carries methionine, cysteine or tryptophan, so oxidation is not the governing pathway here; moisture uptake and the resulting hydrolysis are, which is what the desiccant and the equilibration step address.
Shelf life
Each lot is dated from QA release and carries a printed retest date. The blend carries its own stability protocol rather than inheriting the component studies, and the interval is set on that data; attributes to trend are per-component content, the measured ratio, water content, and any new peak above the 0.10 percent reporting threshold.

This record reports identity, specification and study design. It does not state what the article does in a human body. Supplied under the caution: “CAUTION: Contains a new drug for investigational use only in laboratory research animals or for tests in vitro. Not for use in humans.
