Compositionally undefined animal-tissue extract. A low-molecular-weight peptide fraction obtained by extraction from bovine or porcine thymus tissue, supplied by the originator as oral capsules and marketed as an "A-6 thymus peptide bioregulator". It is not a peptide in the sense the rest of this catalog uses the word: there is no single molecular species, no declared analyte, no published chain-length distribution and no published molecular-weight profile, and therefore nothing a specification can hold constant. Research-vendor material offered in vials under the same name likewise discloses no sequence, and no two vendor descriptions agree.
