1 Identity

Compositionally undefined animal-tissue extract. A saline and dilute-acid extract of testicular tissue from young cattle, supplied as a lyophilized mixture of peptides and co-extracted material of undefined sequence, undefined chain-length distribution and undefined molecular-weight profile. It is not a peptide in the sense the rest of this catalog uses the word: there is no single molecular species, no declared analyte, and therefore nothing a specification can hold constant. Sold to consumers as oral capsules through bioregulator resellers rather than as a research reagent. No CAS number exists for this article and none is quoted here; a tissue extract cannot properly carry one. Not synonyms: Testagen, reported Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly, is a separate defined single-entity molecule of the same program with its own record and its own mass.

Sequence

No defined sequence, and writing one would be a fabrication. An extract has a molecular-weight distribution, not a sequence and not a molecular weight. There is no declared analyte, so there is nothing for a sequence method to confirm. Any vendor document presenting a residue string under this name is presenting something the originator has never published. The last two sequences are supplier-reported and are confirmed against the supplier's own written declaration before either number is used against a lot. Two traps sit inside that list. Epitalon 390.349 and Vesugen 390.393 share an average mass to one decimal place and are 0.0364 Da apart monoisotopic, 93 ppm, so two members of one program are inseparable on a unit-resolution instrument. And Cartalax Ala-Glu-Asp C12H19N3O8, 333.297 / 333.11721, sits 0.047 Da average and 0.0153 Da monoisotopic, 46 ppm, from Thymogen: a certificate rounding to "333.3" does not distinguish them. Two further substitutions are undetectable by any means available to a buyer. Extract for extract: the program's pineal, thymic, vascular, hepatic, cartilage and retinal preparations are lyophilized powders with no declared analyte, and no method on a certificate distinguishes a testicular extract from a thymic one, because there is nothing to measure and therefore nothing to compare. And species substitution: bovine versus porcine origin is a PCR or peptide-mass-fingerprint question nobody in this channel runs.

No published study has been run on this named testicular preparation as a characterized article, and no independently replicated randomized human trial of the extract line was located. The identity finding is prior to the evidence question in any case: with no declared analyte, no publication can be tied to the contents of a specific vial.

Storage

Lyophilized powder. Stored at 2-8 degrees C, sealed against moisture and protected from light, and handled throughout under the animal-tissue-derived material SOP, with species and country of origin recorded on the goods-receipt note and carried forward onto the specification for the lot.

Shelf life

The article is dated from the date of manufacture recorded for the lot on receipt, and it is handled first-expiry-first-out on that date. A retest interval is a statement that a measured property has been shown to hold over time, and the properties measured here are the ones an extract has: water content, appearance and solubility on reconstitution, microbial limits, and the molecular-weight distribution by size exclusion, which is the profile this material carries in place of a single analyte. Those attributes are what limit the interval, since a mixture of undefined composition offers no declared analyte for an assay to hold constant, and the interval printed on the specification is the one they support.
