1 Identity
Fixed-ratio two-component article: a 29-residue C-terminally amidated native GHRH(1-29) fragment, all-L with one sulfur, co-lyophilized with a six-residue synthetic peptide of the GHRP class carrying three D-centers and one non-proteinogenic residue. GHRP-2 is pralmorelin, the active moiety of GHRP Kaken 100, a medicine registered in Japan.

- Per component; a mixture has no combined formula. Sermorelin C149H246N44O42S as the free base, supplied as the acetate with the stoichiometry measured rather than assumed. GHRP-2 C45H55N9O6 as the free base, mono-TFA C47H56F3N9O8, dihydrochloride C45H57Cl2N9O6. The single sulfur belongs to sermorelin alone, and total sulfur is therefore a stoichiometric proxy for that component.

- Per component, on IUPAC 2021 abridged conventional atomic weights: sermorelin 3,357.933 Da; GHRP-2 817.992 Da. AT A nominal 5 mg + 5 mg fill, 10 mg total, the 1.0 : 1.0 mass ratio is a molar ratio of 1.00 : 4.11 — 1.48901 against 6.11253 micromol. Sermorelin against Modified GRF (1-29) is 10.021 Da, and that is the separation the identity test must clear.

- Per component. Sermorelin 3,355.81870 neutral, [M+H]+ 3,356.82598, [M+3H]3+ 1,119.61351, [M+4H]4+ 839.96195, reported as a deconvoluted neutral. GHRP-2 817.4275, [M+H]+ 818.4348. A plus or minus 5 ppm window on the sermorelin ion is plus or minus 0.017 Da — inside the 10.021 Da separation from the tetrasubstituted analog and unreachable by a nominal-mass instrument, whose output is not accepted for this component.
- Salt / variant note
- (1) the GRF fork: Modified GRF (1-29) at 3,367.954, 10.021 Da heavier and with no sulfur; CJC-1295 (DAC:GRF) at 3,647.250; and (D-Ala2)-GRF(1-29) amide, a third distinct molecule. Sulfur presence or absence separates them from sermorelin without a mass spectrometer. (2) Methionine sulfoxide at +15.995 Da, a degradant with its own limit. (3) the secretagogue fork: GHRP-6 at 873.032 and hexarelin at 887.06 substituted for GHRP-2, and ipamorelin at 711.868. (4) counterion, per component: acetate is the institutional article for sermorelin, while GHRP-2 circulates as the acetate, the trifluoroacetate and the dihydrochloride. (5) ratio: 5 mg + 5 mg is a stated nominal and no ratio is standard.

- P1 and P3 — panel definitiontogether, as a union rather than the higher of the two, run per component and never once for the vial. P1 governs sermorelin, entirely proteinogenic and all-L. P3 governs GHRP-2, with D-Ala1, D-2-Nal2 and D-Phe5. The chiral method runs on the GHRP-2 component against its expected three D-centers and, on sermorelin, as a D-content limit rather than an expectation — and note that D-alanine is genuinely present in this article, contributed by GHRP-2, so a pooled figure on the combined hydrolysate is worse than useless and the chiral result is interpreted and reported per component
3 Primary sources & evidence
Published literature exists for each component, is graded on that component's record and is cross-referenced from here rather than restated. The sermorelin file is old and narrow and belongs to the approved finished dosage forms rather than to bulk material, its principal approval-era study being Thorner and colleagues, PMID 8772599. The GHRP-2 file carries a human literature by identifier, including PMID 17609397 and PMID 23079545, and is graded B/C, GHRP-2 being the active moiety of a medicine registered in Japan. No published study of this fixed two-component combination at any ratio was located.

- Co-lyophilized solid in amber Type I glass with a bromobutyl stopper, nitrogen headspace and desiccant in the shipper; non-sterile, with no sterility claim. Store at -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated and protected from light. Nitrogen headspace is not housekeeping on this article: it carries a methionine in one component and a tryptophan indole in the other, and oxygen exclusion is written against that reason. Amber glass or foil overwrap is required, the GHRP-2 indole and naphthalene ring being photolabile. Container-closure qualification includes a measured recovery check on the actual vial and stopper, sermorelin adsorbing to glass and plastic at low concentration. Vials are equilibrated to ambient temperature before opening, and the article ships on dry ice.
- Shelf life
- Provisional 24 months at -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated and protected from light, from QA release — taken as the shorter of the two component intervals, both provisional at 24 months, and reduced to a provisional 12 months if only 2-8 degrees C storage can be evidenced across the whole chain. The blend runs its own protocol and inherits no component study, with a mandatory 6-month interim pull on the first three lots. Trended attributes are per-component net content, the measured ratio, methionine sulfoxide, tryptophan oxidation products, total deamidated species, C-terminal amide hydrolysis, water, counterion and any new peak above 0.10 percent.
