1 Identity

Fixed-ratio five-component article and the most heterogeneous in this set: three linear or cyclic peptides of 9, 10 and 28 residues, one lactam-bridged heptapeptide carrying a D-residue and a non-proteinogenic residue, and one N-acetylated single amino acid that contains no peptide bond at all.

Two of the five contain sulfur - oxytocin two atoms, VIP one at Met17 - so the isotope envelope narrows but does not resolve the set. Counterion is determined per component and independently; kisspeptin-10 is normally a bis-salt and NALT is normally supplied unsalted.

Salt / variant note
No industry-standard ratio exists for this combination, so the proportions are the ones stated on this record and on the certificate for the lot. Three of the components, kisspeptin-10, VIP and oxytocin, are amides, and each carries its des-amido free acid at plus 0.984 Da as its commonest impurity. NALT is supplied as the free acid, and free L-tyrosine is its hydrolysis product and a specified impurity.

Storage
The article is held at -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated and light-protected, with a nitrogen headspace set by the oxytocin disulfide, the VIP methionine and two tryptophan-containing components, and with reducing conditions and elevated pH excluded.
Shelf life
Each lot is dated from QA release and carries a printed retest date, with first-expiry-first-out enforced against that date. The blend inherits no component study and carries its own stability protocol, on which the interval is set, with des-amido species on three components, free thiol, scrambled disulfide, methionine sulfoxide, tryptophan oxidation and free tyrosine from NALT hydrolysis as the stability-indicating attributes.
