Recorded trap: suppliers routinely misprint 9007-34-5 on hydrolysate listings; that number is native collagen, and a certificate citing it for a hydrolysate should be rejected on its face. Bovine and porcine collagen peptides, which differ in amino-acid profile and in allergen and TSE status. Cold-water versus warm-water fish species, which differ in hydroxyproline content and thermal behavior.
