Fragment 176-191 + Modified GRF (1-29) + Ipamorelin
Also indexed as The market titles found for it
1 Identity
Fixed-ratio three-component article: a disulfide-closed 16-residue segment of the 191-residue somatropin chain, co-lyophilized with a 29-residue C-terminally amidated GHRH analogue and a five-residue pentapeptide amide carrying two non-proteinogenic residues. No metal center, no acyl chain, no conjugate. Each component's full identity lives on its own record and is cross-referenced rather than restated. "HGH Frag 176-191 + Mod GRF 1-29 + Ipamorelin" and "Frag 176-191 / CJC-1295 No DAC / Ipamorelin".
- Sequence
- Per component, cross-referenced. Fragment 176-191 H-FLRIVQCRSVEGSCGF-OH with one intramolecular disulfide, Cys7-Cys14 in fragment numbering (hGH Cys182-Cys189) - it is not a linear peptide and must never be specified as one, which is the commonest documentation error on this title. Modified GRF (1-29) Y-(D-A)-DAIFTQSYRKVLAQLSARKLLQDILSR-NH2, no sulfur. Ipamorelin Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2. A free-acid form of either amidated component is a specified impurity, not a synonym.
- Molecular formula
- Per component; a mixture has no combined formula and none is written. Fragment 176-191 C78H123N23O22S2 closed, C78H125N23O22S2 reduced; Modified GRF (1-29) C152H252N44O42; ipamorelin C38H49N9O5. AOD-9604 C78H123N23O23S2 closed, one oxygen more, is named because the market ships it under the first component's name. Counterion is a measured finding per component - acetate on one against trifluoroacetate at high mass fraction on another passes a gross-weight check while the ratio is already out.
- Average mass
- Per component, on IUPAC 2021 abridged conventional atomic weights: 1,799.101 Da closed (1,801.117 reduced); 3,367.954 Da; 711.868 Da. AT A nominal 2 mg + 2 mg + 2 mg fill, 6 mg total, the 1.0 : 1.0 : 1.0 mass ratio is a molar ratio of 1.87 : 1.00 : 4.73 - 1.11167, 0.59383 and 2.80951 micromol. An equal-mass presentation of a 3.4 kDa peptide against a 1.8 kDa peptide and a 712 Da pentapeptide is nowhere near equimolar, and a document treating the mass ratio as a molar ratio is wrong on its face.
- Monoisotopic mass
- Per component. Fragment 176-191 1,797.86544 neutral, [M+H]+ 1,798.87272; the reduced open chain is 2.016 Da away. Modified GRF (1-29) 3,365.89358, observed multiply charged, [M+3H]3+ 1,122.97180. Ipamorelin 711.3857, [M+H]+ 712.3930. The separation mass spectrometry cannot make alone: phenylalanine plus one oxygen is elementally tyrosine, so a mono-oxidized closed fragment has exactly the formula and mass of closed AOD-9604, 1,813.86036 - elementally identical rather than near-isobaric, separable only by MS/MS localization or by co-elution against authentic standards. No single blend molecular weight is printed.
- Salt / variant note
- (1) the AOD-9604 substitution, the dominant risk on this title and documented on the component record at both sellers captured and at one synthesis house: 1,815.100 against 1,799.101, a single Tyr-for-Phe at position 1. (2) the reduced open chain at +2.016 Da, which travels as the article whenever the disulfide is never tested. (3) the "CJC-1295" FORK on the second component: 3,367.954 against CJC-1295 (DAC:GRF) 3,647.250, plus 279.296 Da. (4) sermorelin 3,357.933, 10.021 Da lighter and carrying the one sulfur this article's Leu27 lacks. (5) Counterion per component. (6) Ratio: 2/2/2 mg is a stated nominal and no ratio is standard.
2 Class & testing panel
- Form
- Fixed-ratio blend
- Testing panel
- P1 and P3 — panel definitionas a union, run per component and never once for the vial. P1 governs the fragment, with the intramolecular disulfide added as an identity attribute in its own right. P3 is engaged twice - D-Ala2 in Modified GRF (1-29); Aib1, D-2-Nal3 and D-Phe4 in ipamorelin - so chiral amino acid analysis is mandatory and is judged against each component's own expected D-content, never a pooled figure. Aib is achiral, carries no chiral limit, and is shown present by MS/MS. One reconciliation is specific to this composition and is on no competitor's certificate: AOD-9604 differs from the fragment by a single Tyr-for-Phe at position 1, so substituting it moves one residue per mole out of the phenylalanine pool into the tyrosine pool, and tyrosine is the primary marker for Modified GRF (1-29). The substitution biases the 29-mer's net content high while every other marker stays intact, and it is silent unless phenylalanine and tyrosine are reconciled against each other
3 Primary sources & evidence
Published literature exists for each of the three components, is graded on that component's own record and is cross-referenced from here rather than restated; the ipamorelin originator work dates from the mid-1990s. No published study of this fixed three-component combination at any ratio was located - a statement about the search, and about the components only in the sense that the mixture has no literature of its own.
4 Storage & specification
- Storage
- Co-lyophilized solid held at -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated, protected from light, in Type I amber glass with a PTFE-lined closure and a nitrogen headspace. Non-sterile, no sterility claim. The redox-sensitive point is the fragment's single disulfide, which is why inert headspace is a written condition rather than a packaging preference; the ipamorelin naphthalene ring makes the solid photosensitive, which is what the amber glass and the light protection are for.
- Shelf life
- Provisional 24 months at -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated and light-protected, from the date of QA release, taken as the shortest component interval. The retest-limiting attributes are the reduced open-chain fragment at +2.016 Da and disulfide scrambling, not backbone hydrolysis. No component contains methionine, so an oxidation panel built around methionine sulfoxide is a method borrowed from a different chemistry and does not apply here. Printed retest date on every unit, first-expiry-first-out enforced against that date.
