1 Identity
Fixed-ratio three-component article: two plain linear peptide free acids and one copper(II) coordination complex of a tripeptide ligand. The metal is the fact that reorganizes the whole specification. TB4 fragment 1-4 IS Ac-SDKP and is not TB-500: three different thymosin beta-4 articles circulate under overlapping names — the full-length 43-residue chain, the 17-23 heptapeptide and this N-terminal tetrapeptide — and they differ by kilodaltons.

AT A stated nominal 10 mg plus 10 mg plus 50 mg, 70 mg total, that is 7.0445, 20.5124 and 124.4047 micromol — a molar ratio of 1.0000 : 2.9119 : 17.6599, and the 50 mg of complex carries 7.91 mg of elemental copper into the vial. No single blend molecular weight is printed. Copper's conventional atomic weight of 63.546 is an isotope-weighted average and is not the mass of any single molecule.

The copper isotope envelope, 63Cu TO 65Cu AT 69.15 TO 30.85, is part of the identity of that component and not an instrumental artifact, and a monoisotopic figure quoted without naming the isotopologue is incomplete.

(3) the GHK-Cu FORK: free GHK ligand 340.38 against the 1:1 complex 401.91 against the mono-acetate 461.97 — a 60 Da and 15.8 percent copper difference that no seller found declares. (4) BPC-157 salt: acetate, trifluoroacetate and the L-arginine salt, mass-spectrometrically indistinguishable. (5) Ac-SDKP: free acid, acetate 547.562, trifluoroacetate 601.533.

The P5 element governs the other two by contamination rather than by chemistry: free Cu(II) in the vial interferes with AQC and OPA derivatization, so a desalting or EDTA step is written into the amino acid analysis method for the whole article and is not left to the laboratory's discretion. - Co-lyophilized solid, the GHK-Cu component blue to blue-violet and coloring the cake, in Type I amber glass with a PTFE-lined closure, nitrogen headspace, in-pack desiccant, held at -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C, desiccated and protected from light. Non-sterile laboratory chemical. Vials are equilibrated to ambient before opening.

- Provisional 24 months at -20 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C from QA release, the shortest of the three component intervals, set on this company's own data and inheriting no component study. One compatibility question is answered by data and not by assumption: a redox-active copper complex is co-lyophilized with two peptides, and whether that changes their degradation profile is measured. Stability-indicating attributes: per-component content, the measured ratio, copper-to-ligand stoichiometry, free ligand, the mass-silent aspartyl-to-isoaspartyl rearrangement in both BPC-157 and Ac-SDKP which requires a chromatographic method, water, counter-ion and any new peak above 0.10 percent.
